of writings; loose clippings of her works in various newspapers; a scrapbook containing newsclippings of her series "Women
Worth While" on wives of politicians and diplomats in Washington, D.C. during the Taft and Wilson administrations; and clippings
relating to the "St. Nicholas Girl", a program sponsored by the Washington Times in 1910 featuring Miss Armstrong who collected
and distributed toys for poor children.

The collection consists of correspondence, writings, photographs, printed material and media. Most of the material in the
collections concerns Myrick's work as a consultant on the movie Gone with the Wind. The correspondence includes memos to and
from Myrick regarding her suggestions on the movie set; the writings include a typescript of the diary Myrick wrote in Hollywood
while an advisor for the movie. From her diary Myrick sent back material for her columns in the Macon Telegraph and these
columns were edited by Richard Harwell and published in 1982 as White Columns in Hollywood. Also included are examples of
the columns and articles Myrick wrote for the Macon Telegraph from 1928 until her retirement in 1967. Photographs are both
personal and professional in nature, depicting Myrick and her travels as well as Margaret Mitchell and Gone with the Wind.

as a delegate to the Progressive Republican Convention in Chicago (1912). Correspondents include readers of her articles and
